Tasmanian oak is not only resilient and dense, but it is also warm and beautiful, adding light tones of cream, straw and reddish brown to your colour scheme to create an elegant finish.

Tasmanian Oak Dining Tables to Suit Your Home

Our Tasmanian oak timber dining table models are available in a variety of styles and designs to complement any room. Our dining tables are available in different sizes and shapes, including Square Tables, Rectangular Tables, Round Tables, and Extendable Tables. Square tables are well suited to square dining spaces, and they are ideal if you rarely have more than three or four diners. However, if you want versatility, you could opt for a square table that can be extended to allow transformation to a larger rectangular table for any special occasion. As we’ve touched on above, rectangular tables provide a more extensive space for dining and can accommodate more than four people who could comfortably be seated at a square table. Since it is recommended to allow 50 centimetres per person, you may be able to seat two per side and one on each end with space to spare. Rectangular tables are also the most common shape as typically dining areas are the same shape, so you can house a larger table with room on all four sides. A round table is typically better for a smaller room. This shape allows you to create a cozy and intimate dining setting for a small group. However, there are some round tables that are larger, but you may need a lazy Susan to share condiments or dishes placed at the centre more easily. Again, this shape of a table may be available as an extending model that can be transformed into an oval table to accommodate more guests. Oval tables have rounded corners, which means that they visually take up less space compared to a similar-sized rectangular table. This shape tends to be easier to place in a narrower or smaller room where a rectangular table may dominate the space.
